Kaisercraft Card sets!!

Hello,

Its been a while since I made cards without inks and stamping, so went back to making cards with only pattern papers and ready embellishments - all from my Most favorite brand - Kaisercraft..

These cards are made with three different packs - True Romance , Hello today and Coastal escape..

Coastal Escape Cards

The cards are made from a single 12 x 12 pattern paper and embellished with collectibles, flowers and border stickers from different packs .. ( I love to mix & match them hehe)

Here is a small pictorial :

1. Apply a base coat of Gesso to the background and spray with mists. I have used Kaiser Mists - Lime green and Turquoise.

2. Using a Stencil, add impasto medium for some texture randomnly.

3. I have layered small bits , frames and  a doily before mounting my main focal sentiment.

4. You can embellish as per your choice using flowers, woodelements, ribbons etc.

Hello Today Cards :

True Romance Cards :

The cards are simple quick cards !!

A small pictorial :

1. I have adhered coordinating borders and lace from the pack .

2. For the flower, punch out petals of two sizes. Spritz them water and emboss at the back by curling       circular motion.

3. Layer them using glue and adhere it onto the card. Add a few leaves and the sentiment to finish the     card.

Hope you liked the cards.

Thank you for stopping by.

Hugs,
Tasneem!!

Welcoming Autmn

Hello Peeps,

I'm here to share the cards that I made for Autumn. I have always loved the colors of Autumn and wanted to experiment them into cards.

All the cards are completely made from scratch - each in a different technique. Here is the full reveal:
The stamp set used is from Hero Arts - Scattering Leaves.

Card 1 :

For this card, I have inked the card using distress inks , starting from the lightest Mustard seed , Spiced Marmalade, Peeled Paint, Broken China and Fired Brick. Further add a touch of vintage photo for a finished look, The card is then sprayed with water and let to dry. I have stamped with a script set from Kaisercraft with Black Archival ink. The small maples are stamped with Archivals and fussy cut. They are then mounted with foam tape and adhered to the card. The sentiment (wood cut) is stamped with versamark and white embossing powder and placed on the card.

Card 2 :

For this card, I have embossed the plain base using an wood grain embossing folder and inked them using Vintage Photo distress ink. Stamp the Maple leaves in two colors and fussy cut them. To add little more interest, have applied an event coat of Glossy accent and added a little bit of Fairy dust. They are then assembled on to the card with a little sentiment tag.

Card 3 :

This is a very simple card, I have first distressed the card with Spiced Marmalade, Vintage Photo and Peeled Paint. Stamp the maple leaf with Versamark and White Embossing powder. I have stamped a sentiment and mounted them onto the card. Add a few blings to finish off!

Card 4 :

This is my try on CAS card , which is totally out of my comfort zone. I have stamped the smaller stamps from the set in a random fashion to create this design. To give it a lift, Ink two strips with Fired brick and adhere to the card . Stamp a sentiment and finish off with blings.

Loved making these cards and the way they turned out.

Hope you all liked them as much I liked making them!!
